International Support Center

The International Support Center at Modern College of Business and Science was established with the aim of not only supporting international students but also international staff members by providing services that would be foreign to them. The goal of the International Center is to ensure that the international community at Modern College of Business Science have a seamless transition into the country and at the Institute and have an enjoyable experience in Oman.

Facilities

Library

The College has a physical library located on the fourth floor (Block D). The library contains several study rooms that would give a student privacy to study, computers that students could use in case they don’t have a personal one and a variety of books depending on the need.

As a roadmap to fulfilling MCBS sustainability goals, MCBS understands the move to a digital era is underway and embracing it would be pivotal in the growth of the Institution. A virtual library was introduced a couple of years ago to give the students and staff a wider database of books and journals that would help in their research activities. Arabic Language Program

Although Modern College of Business and Science is an English taught Higher Education Institution, an Arabic Language Program is offered to anyone that is interested in expanding their language database.

Student Clubs

At MCBS, we encourage students to engage themselves with activities outside of the classroom environment and join student run clubs. Find a list of the student clubs here.

Residency Status

As a student or employee in Oman, you are required to have a student visa or employee visa respectively. This is also known as a Residency Visa. The International Support Center at MCBS will support you with the process hand in hand in getting your visa sorted and ensure you get your Residency Card.
