Research office is the point of contact for submission of research proposals; identifying sources of research funding both inside and outside the college; and participation in, and major college research programs.

• Dr. Hothefa Shaker
  Acting Associate Dean for Graduate Studies & Research

Associate Prof. Dr. Hothefa Shaker Jassim received his Ph.D. in Computer and Communication Engineering from the College of Engineering, University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia in 2012.

He received his M.Sc. degree in Systems and Networking at the College of Information Technology, University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). He obtained his post-doctorate fellowship at the National University of Malaysia (UKM).

He was working as a faculty member in the field of computing and technology for 15 years in different countries and universities.  He held several academic management positions, including Head of the Computer Engineering department at KUST University, Iraq. Also, Head of the Mathematics and Computer Science department, then Director of post-graduate studies at MCBS, Oman. He has received several external funds; ERGS, FRGS, and industries projects.  Currently,
