Pioneer in Higher Education
Established in December 1996, Muscat, MCBS is Oman’s first full-fledged privately owned college with 27 years of exemplary track record. MCBS holds the distinction of having American affiliation for both its undergraduate and graduate programs, ensuring a globally recognized education.
Business and Liberal Arts
As a student, you can take classes in any of MCBS’s undergraduate programs and in 7 of MCBS’s graduate programs. This includes 29 minors between the undergraduate and graduate programs.
International Affiliates
With a rigorous business education, MCBS undergraduate alumni can undertake an MBA program with its international affiliate Franklin University, USA in order to advance their careers. MCBS stands as the only college in Oman to offer an American MBA program, providing a comprehensive and globally recognized business education.
Campus Life
Modern College of Business and Science has 3100+ students from 35 nationalities with faculty and staff members from 31 nationalities. The college offers programs in academic collaboration with reputed international institutions and has a memorandum of understanding for research collaborations with several organizations and companies in and across the country making the college a one stop destination of innovation and development.

Arabic Medium Instruction
MCBS is the first college to introduce a Master, Bachelor, and Associate program in Public Administration, taught in Arabic medium instruction, in our Muscat campus. We also offer an MBA taught in Arabic medium instruction and a Master of Human Resource Management.

The First Curriculum
MCBS is the only college that offers a specialized bachelor’s degree in Airport and Aviation Programs, catering to the specific needs and demands of this industry. The college is the only exclusive institution in Oman to offer a master’s degree in Islamic Banking and Finance, catering to the needs of students interested in this specialized field. We are also pleased to announce the launch of Oman’s First PhD program in Business Administration.
