Muscat, Oman – A team of Computer Science students from MCBS won the prestigious Global Connection Award at the NASA Space Apps Hackathon 2024, held on October 5-6. Competing against 75 teams, they developed an interactive website that connects users globally to address climate issues through real-time environmental updates and shared climate stories. Hosted by UTAS in collaboration with NASA, the event showcased innovative solutions for Earth and space challenges. This achievement reflects MCBS’s dedication to fostering innovation and equipping students to tackle real-world problems.

Muscat, Oman – The MCBS Innovation Center provides students with resources, mentorship, and industry connections to develop their ideas into real projects. The center helps students with hands-on guidance from concept to implementation, giving them the support needed to explore new solutions.

As part of its ongoing sustainability efforts, MCBS has developed an eco-friendly parking area on campus. Designed with green infrastructure principles, the parking zone minimizes environmental impact while ensuring functionality. This initiative reflects MCBS’s focus on sustainable campus development, integrating modern environmental standards into its facilities.
