Muscat, Oman – The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) is advancing gender diversity by encouraging women to pursue careers in STEM and specialized fields. Female enrollment has grown significantly, with 509 women in Computer Science, 407 in ICT, 247 in Statistics, and 238 in Transport and Logistics Management. This initiative aligns with global efforts to close the gender gap in technical disciplines.

Muscat, Oman – The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) continues to support women's academic success, with female graduates outnumbering males in several fields. In Accounting, 92 women graduated compared to 35 men, while Aviation Management saw 451 female graduates versus 170 males. Strong representation is also evident in Commercial Law, Business Administration, and Public Administration. Through targeted programs and resources, MCBS equips women with the skills needed for leadership roles, contributing to a more balanced workforce.

Muscat, Oman – The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) continues to advance gender balance in academia, with 46 female academics holding senior positions in 2023-2024. Among them, 11 hold PhDs and 34 have Master’s degrees, highlighting MCBS’s commitment to supporting women in higher education. Ms. Aisha Al Kharusi, Deputy Chairman at MCBS, serves as a role model, representing the college at the QS Higher Ed Pre-Summit: Asia Pacific 2024 and winning the Business Leadership Award - Education at the Times of Oman Business Leadership Summit & Awards.

Muscat, Oman – The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) is fostering gender equality through targeted initiatives like WEB (Women Education in Business) and English for HER. The WEB program, launched in collaboration with government and private entities, equips Omani women with business skills to develop ventures in fashion, food, and event management. Meanwhile, English for HER provides a practical learning environment to enhance language proficiency and communication skills. These programs reaffirm MCBS’s dedication to women’s empowerment and professional growth across Oman.

Additionally, the Estidama Center at MCBS is launching a Women Empowerment Mentorship Program, connecting female students, faculty, and staff with industry-leading women for guidance in leadership, sustainability, and professional development. These programs reaffirm MCBS’s role in supporting women’s growth and success.

Muscat, Oman – The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) is reinforcing its commitment to an inclusive and supportive work environment through policies on workplace respect, harassment prevention, and non-discrimination against women. The college’s Maternity and Paternity Leave Policy ensures employees can balance family and professional responsibilities. Additionally, MCBS collaborates with the Digital Private School to offer discounted childcare facilities for students and staff, helping parents pursue their careers and education without compromise. These measures reflect MCBS’s dedication to equity, work-life balance, and a family-friendly campus culture.
