Franklin University Congratulates its 50 New MBA Graduates with Academic Partner, Modern College of Business and Science

Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults in central Ohio, celebrated its 29th MBA cohort with its Omani academic partner, Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) on March 13, 2023. The University proudly welcomed 50 new MBA graduates to its impactful worldwide network of more than 50,000 alumni. Franklin University’s president, Dr. David Decker and Dr. Godfrey Mendes, Franklin’s senior vice president of Global Programs and Strategic Initiatives were in attendance to celebrate the newest cohort of Franklin graduates and the broader friendship between MCBS and Franklin University.

About MCBS
Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) signed a cooperation agreement with Franklin University, USA in 2009. Under the agreement, the Franklin MBA program is taught at the MCBS campus. Classes are conducted in English by a combination of Columbus-based Franklin faculty members travelling to Oman and local faculty members from MCBS and other institutions. The Franklin MBA is the first graduate program offered by the college and the first graduate American degree in Oman.

MCBS-Franklin MBA Program is designed for busy professionals interested in advancing their career while meeting the demands of a challenging workplace by increasing their level of competence and resolving increasingly complex business challenges. The program of study emphasizes theory to practice and the acquisition of lifelong learning skills essential in being personally and professionally effective in a world characterized by uncertainty and growing levels of complexity.
