Overview
MCBS hosts an American MBA from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. The course offers students a unique combination of an American MBA education, an international learning experience, and global networking opportunities.
The program equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and strategic mindset necessary to succeed in diverse business environments and take on leadership roles. It also fosters an entrepreneurial mindset and encourages innovation.
The MBA curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including core business disciplines such as finance, marketing, operations management, human resources, strategy, entrepreneurship, and organizational behavior. Admission Criteria
Prospective students who submit a complete application (Refer to Required Documents) will be screened and approved for admission by Franklin University Academic Committee.
Grade Point Average
- Fully admitted student with an earned bachelor’s degree GPA of 2.75 and above.
- Conditionally admitted student with an earned bachelor’s degree GPA between 2.5 to 2.74.
- Conditionally admitted student with an earned bachelor’s degree GPA between 2.0 to 2.49 need to successfully complete a certificate in “Advanced Management Skills” with an average grade of B.
Required Documents
Student’s documents and credentials will be pre-screened by Modern College of Business and Science and sent to the Office of International Students & Programs (OISP) at Franklin University for final admissions decisions.
When admitted into the Franklin University MBA program you become a Franklin University student with the same rights and obligations as Franklin’s students taking courses in all other locations.
GRADUATE ADMISSIONS CHECKLIST
- High School Transcript in original.
- Bachelor’s Degree Transcript in original.
- Official Transcripts must have relevant ministry stamps.
- Transcripts of transferred courses must be handed in.
- MOHE validation Letter must be handed in for those who have studied in a foreign country.
- Bachelor’s Degree Certificate in original.
- National Identification Document and Passport (copy).
- Curriculum Vitae
- Include contact details of three academic or professional references.
- 2 passport size photographs.
- English Language Proficiency Score Card.
- Application and MOHE Forms (to be issued by MBA Office).
English Proficiency
Prospective applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency. The requirement is met through any of the following:
The applicant has earned appropriate scores on language proficiency exams taken within the last two years.
A minimum overall score in addition to exam subsection scores of:
- TOEFL 79 (internet-based), or 550 (paper-based). Reading: 20/30 and Writing: 20/30
- IELTS: (Academic) score band of minimum 6.0
