In disseminating knowledge to the community, MCBS has participated in the 3rd International Conference organized by American University of the Emirates.  Due to the COVID 19 situation, online virtual conference presentations were conducted through video conference platforms and over 120 research papers were presented from the region and across the globe and the presented papers will be published by the Springer Publications.

Hesham Magd., Ph.D, Associate Dean & Faculty Head of Business and Economics, and Venkat Raj Thumiki., Ph.D Faculty and Coordinator, Marketing Program presented an elaborative and illustrative research paper titled, ‘A snapshot of Socio-economic impact of COVID-19 on the Sultanate of Oman: Measures and coping strategies’, in the 3rd AUE International Research Conference, organized by American University in the Emirates, Dubai, UAE, on 8th August 2020.

 MCBS is the only Higher Education Institution from Oman to present research paper in this scientific conference. The authors researched various secondary sources extensively and articulated the paper on impact of COVID-19 on various socio-economic factors of Oman.
