English for Work Environment is a course that has been specially designed for adult professionals by experienced experts in English and offered by MCBS to corporate sector. CGPS offers English courses that are tailor made for adult learners to promote their career development, increase employability and job prospects as well as chances of higher income. In addition to English for WE, CGPS offers English for Continuing Education, IELTS preparation course and exam, IATA and a range of specialized short courses.

This has been the second year of successful collaboration between MCBS and OCC and the employees continue with the next level in February this year. The company has also requested the course English for Engineering and the college is designing this course which will be specifically tailor made for OCC engineers.

Professor Ahmed Al Naamany, the Dean, welcomed the audience emphasizing the importance of the cooperation between OCC and MCBS. He added that he is very pleased to see that the industry is aware of the importance of the English language in developing of their human resources. Ms. Aleksandra Minic, who has designed English for WE and has been the instructor to OC employees, facilitated this ceremony and addressed her students saying how proud she is to see them improving and taking charge of their educational development. She also thanked Mr. Hilal Al Dhamri, the senior production manager in OCC, for supporting the education and helping his employees’ career growth.
