MCBS participates in 4th International Conference of the College of Education, SQU

The Modern College of Business & Science (MCBS) was the leading institution (apart from the host university) in terms of the number of papers presented. A total of six papers were presented by its faculty and staff members from Department of Business & Economics, Department of Computer Science & Mathematics and Application Development & Service Unit (ADSU). All the papers were well received and appreciated by the Chair of the sessions and audience.

The 4th International Conference of the College of Education was organized at the Sultan Qaboos University campus. It was a 4-day event held from the 14th to 17th November 2016. The theme of the conference was Academic Accreditation: The Road to Sustainable Quality Education. Over 175 papers which highlighted various aspects of Academic Accreditation were presented by academicians and professionals who represented a diverse regional outlook spanning across Africa, Europe, Middle East and South Asia. Furthermore, 8 workshops for faculty members and students were conducted by experienced professionals.

The conference was a huge hit as it stimulated a lot of intellectual brainstorming of varied ideas. It also brought academicians from different countries closer to one another which could act as a starting point for future collaborations.
