MCBS Held A Seminar On "Building Managerial Skills for the P.A.S."

Modern College of Business and Science held a seminar on “Building Managerial Skills for the Public Administration Sector” in association with its American academic partner, the Ohio-based Franklin University.

Dr. Krzysztof Koj, a Franklin University visiting professor and also the Dean of the Chorzow School of Banking (Poland), delivered the keynote address. The seminar took place on Wednesday September 10th and essentially addressed officials from the various ministries and government bodies of the Sultanate, along with others.

This was one of a series of seminars in management skills aimed at facilitating knowledge transfer between academic institutions and communities. Dean of the Modern College Prof. Namaany, in his welcome speech, underscored that the significance of acquiring critical skills in management can’t be overstated. The Modern College has partnered with Franklin University of the US to deliver a world-class MBA program at Modern College. This will cater to the needs of employees of various public administration bodies of the Sultanate. The program’s international component modules make it highly worthwhile.
