Biography
Rene Y. Paquibut is an SHRM-Certified Professional and has earned PhD degrees in Business Management and in Education. His work experiences include nine years in the banking sector and more than 20 years in the academe in various capacities (Lecturer, Dean of College, Associate Dean for QA, Director of HR, Deputy Director for QA) in the Philippines, the Sultanate of Oman, and in the United Arab Emirates.
He has taught management students in both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervised doctorands, provided continuing education to professionals, and engaged in consultancy work. He has worked in international projects of CIDA, GIZ, and AUSAID. He is affiliated with the Premier Family Business Consulting firm in the Philippines. He has been engaged in quality assurance in education for many years and has experience in working towards the accreditation of institutions and programs through the compliance of PAASCU, OAAA, CAA, and AACSB standards.
